Location: Alamogordo, NM

Project Management Support

Qualis Corporation is seeking a full time junior to mid level Project Management Support Manager to perform Engineering Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) functions program management support to the National RCS Test Facility (NRTF),Detachment 1, 704th Test Group. The tasks assigned will be fully associated with the future development of a dynamic RCS measurement capability at the NRTF. This position is located at Holloman, AFB, FL.

Essential Functions

The Project Management Support Manager will:

  • Decompose larger program tasks/objectives down into smaller sub-tasks/sub-objectives; working as a team with the senior program managers and technical leads/engineers in the organization to establish requirements;

  • Interfacing with other government organizations to gather information on previous lessons learned and best practices, currently employed technologies, evolving technologies and their planned investments, and identify areas of potential financial leverage;

  • Conducting market research with the various vendors and industrial base;

  • Obtain improved cost estimates

  • Advance the sub-projects to the execution phase,

  • Ensure project completion in accordance with plan.

Education and Experience Qualification

  • Requires Bachelors degree in relevant discipline and up to 3 years of experience. Experience for education may be substituted with customer approval.

  • Must have ability to work within specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required.

  • Ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission a provide effective solutions.

  • Exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 704 Test Group as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 10%.

  • US Citizenship required.

Security Clearance

  • Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
