Maternal Child Services Strategy and Program Development Director

The enterprise level Strategy and Program Development Director will be responsible for researching and developing from concept to launch clinically relevant, innovative programs and strategies to drive growth, improve health, cost of care outcomes and drive industry leadership in Maternal Child Services. In collaboration with a team of subject matter experts works effectively across multiple corporate departments and with individual state senior leaders to achieve success.

Primary functions include:

Pre RFP response content generation, product development, cost of care ideation, proposal generation, member, provider and customer messaging.

Works with data analytics and the department’s operational reporting team to format reporting tools necessary to communicate program evaluations.

Partners with senior leadership to define strategy and success criteria for the future.

Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects, priorities and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprise strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 10 years of related strategic planning, project and program management experience with knowledge and experience in the products and services of the respective industry; 5 years of experience in a senior management position; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Ability to travel may be required.

Requirements include the ability to effectively communicate to senior leaders through presentations and written proposals a program’s potential to improve outcomes, enhance growth and generate cost savings.
