Strategic Communications Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Develop the site's Weekly Activity Report and produce broad, primarily written, communications in order to promote the client's capabilities. Interview subject matter experts and develop an original approach for each story-line. Create, design, and write complex publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal or external audiences. Assist with event planning and exhibits. Support updates to and the development and implementation of the organization's communications strategy to ensure consistent, relevant, accurate, tailored, and timely communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

-4 years of experience with communications or intelligence

-Experience with performing a baseline assessment, designing a communications approach, developing products and vehicles, and implementing a communications plan, including evaluating and adjusting it

-Ability to create organizational and strategic communications among organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working on strategic communications in the intelligence community or DoD

-BA or BS degree in a Journalism- or Communications-related field preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
