Position Title Nondestructive Inspection Technician III

Experienced US Army/US Navy/US Air Force Aviation Mechanic 3/NDI Level III. Manages Non Destructive Testing (NDT) support for engines/components/support equipment at the highest quality and safety standards in accordance with applicable technical directives. Must be able to perform those duties to include but not limited to; all 5 disciplines of NDI. MT, ET, UT, RT, PT. Specific tasking for this position can be located in the applicable work center Job Qualification Standards (JQS). Must be certifiable to AIA/NAS410 SNT-TC-1A. DOD NDI School (Pensacola/Chanute), or other (verifiable) accredited schools shall be considered. Shall function as NDI Level II in the methods of ET/PT/MT. Perform nondestructive inspections on F-16 Aircraft. Perform all phases of NDT inspection by method, of aircraft support equipment to include their components. Certify inspection test results IAW applicable NDI manuals, drawings and or Blueprints. Perform inspections, process controls, service, repairs, modifications and troubleshooting of the ASE system when required. Maintain inspection records, trend analysis, and other required forms and correspondence for maintenance and documentation of all ASE assigned. Must maintain shop and all NDI equipment in a ready (RFI) condition.

AECOM is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic 2/NDI Level II in support of USAF F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Operations at Holloman AFB, NM. Candidates with prior NDI Level II experience is mandatory.
High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum four (4) years actual and recent intermediate/depot level aircraft non-destructive inspector experience is required.
Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or aviation maintenance technical school curriculum or possess a certification from an accredited ASNT school.
Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.
Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.
Must be able to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. IND-MRG
Candidates with prior F-16 experience highly desired.
