Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to provide training, direction and evaluation to a team of Child Support Legal Assistants utilizing Federal and State laws and regulations as well as Department policies and procedures.

This position is a Pay Band 70.

Line Manager II
A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of professional level experience operating within limited parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience. A hiring agency will designate a portion of the required experience to include supervisory and/or specialized experience. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Do you possess a valid Driver's License?
Do you have experience independently managing a caseload?
Do you have four (4) years' experience in legal research or legal documentation preparation or in accounting, finance or social, health or human service program development or delivery and/or clerical experience in a Child Support or Income Support office?
Do you have experience reviewing referred cases and conducting additional intake, research, and analysis to resolve problems and complaints?
Do you have experience providing consultation and training to co-workers?
Do you have four (4) years' experience as of Child Support Legal Assistant 1 (CSLA 1)?
Do you have experience and familiarity with how the child support performance measures are calculated within the child Support (IV-D) program and why they are important?
Do you have experience interviewing clients to determine their financial information, medical benefits, and child care cost to determine child support guideline worksheets in accordance with federal and state regulations?
Do you have experience with Child Support Enforcement Division County office programs and sanction procedures?
Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience?
Do you have experience coordinating data entry and retrieval from multiple interfacing information systems and databases?
