Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Sr. Test Operations Specialist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Test Operations Specialist will work as part of an Army Project Office support team to serve as a Test Site Operator. The Test Site Operator must be familiar with test procedure development and executing events from these procedures. Individual will operate command and control operator work stations and other tactical equipment in support of test operations.
Focus on test execution on a complex and advanced Air and Missile Defense BM/C4I system, providing technical systems integration and test support in a field test environment.
Support data collection at the end of the test runs.
Monitor and log the system condition during the test events and report anomalies to the Test Director.
Candidate will be responsible for:
The execution of daily test runs of the system, requiring an understanding of changing modes and states of the tactical system to facilitate the functional capability under test.
Daily initialization of the tactical system to prepare for test events at various test venues.
The system shut down process and for ensuring procedural discipline is followed, and will report anomalies in this process.
Traveling to various test ranges, thus must be able to work in a high-paced environment with flexible work schedule during test execution phases.
Test event categories the Test Site Operator will support include: System Qualification Testing, HWIL Lab Testing, and Range Testing. This work will occur as part of a Test Execution Team, therefore the candidate must possess good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment consisting of government and prime contractor personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs.
(2) Two year Technical Degree or equivalent T&E experience is required
This position requires a minimum of 5 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
Candidate must be a resident of the WSMR, New Mexico area (or willing to relocate to the WSMR. New Mexico area)
Test experience with Army AMD systems, such as PATRIOT or IBCS is strongly desired.
Experience with test support tools and instrumentation is desired.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
